The Tax Appeal Tribunal was established pursuant to the Tax Administration Act to adjudicate disputes related to taxation laws in the Maldives. It reviews appeals filed by taxpayers dissatisfied with decisions or tax assessments made by the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority. Decisions rendered by the tribunal are appealable to the High Court of the Maldives.
