Shifa Thaufeeq is a Male'-born playback singer active since 1986, known for film songs such as "Aavaaney Naa" from Masthu (1995). She has won five Gaumee Film Awards, three Aafathis Awards and a Maldives Film Award, and received the National Award of Recognition for singing in 2000.
