Mohamed Bassam Adam is a hospitality and travel sector executive with over two decades of experience in Maldivian tourism. He previously served as Deputy Managing Director and interim head of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives). In September 2025, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), stepping down from the post in March 2026.
