The Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments is the executive government authority in the Maldives responsible for managing national religious matters and endowments. Headquartered at the Islamic Centre in Malé, its mandate covers mosque maintenance, religious dawah, Islamic literature review, and zakat management. The ministry also oversees Hajj and Umrah regulations and operates educational and charitable religious programs across the country.
