The Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises is the executive agency responsible for managing the public finances, formulating macroeconomic and fiscal policy, and overseeing state-owned enterprises in the Maldives. It compiles and oversees the national budget, manages sovereign debt, and administers government treasury and public procurement operations. The ministry operates from its headquarters on Ameenee Magu in Malé.
