Male' Taxi Line is a government-backed taxi service operated by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). It launched on 2 April 2026 with 150 electric vehicles serving the Greater Male' region around the clock, and has since expanded to Villimale'. Rides can be booked through the 1655 hotline, a website and iPhone and Android apps.
