The six-storey mosque east of Boduthakurufaanu Magu near the Artificial Beach was partly funded by Saudi Arabia and named after King Salman. It has five minarets and a roof styled after a Bedouin tent rather than a traditional dome. The complex includes a library, auditorium, classrooms and a multi-purpose hall, and has hosted prayers since April 2022.
