Captain Hussain Shafeeq is an experienced maritime professional and Master Mariner with over 35 years of industry experience. He has commanded commercial vessels on international voyages and previously served as the captain of the hopper suction dredger Mahaa Jarraafu. As Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), he oversees port operations, maritime logistics, and strategic port infrastructure development across the Maldives.
