About
Hassan Zareer was appointed as the Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises of the Maldives in June 2026. Prior to this role, he served as the Commissioner General of Taxation at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority and previously as its Deputy Commissioner General. He has also served as Chairperson of the Bank of Maldives and held executive positions within the Ministry of Finance.
