Adam Shamil was appointed to the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives and elected as its President on 17 March 2022. He previously served at the commission in various capacities between 2011 and 2020. His career also includes serving as a legal consultant and as Director of Legal Affairs and Investigation at the Children's Ombudsperson's Office.
